Our work has been highly appreciated by the concerned village panchayats, inspiring us to relentlessly strive for the betterment of the communities. The Group has spent approximately INR 3 Crores for various development activities under CSR.

Every year, Goel Group celebrates World Environment Day and World Earth Day by organising plantation drives and awareness programmes at different schools in villages near the mining sites. Under the Central Government Scheme ʻNal Jal Yojanaʼ, Shri Bajrang Power & Ispat Limited (SBPIL) has constructed bore wells, installed overhead water tanks & taps, overseen widening/deepening of ponds and has set up solar street lights for better and sustainable use of water and electricity in Uttar Bastar, Kanker, Tilda and Raipur.
Annually, the Group sponsors scholarship programmes at the state level for both Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh under our flagship programme Swarnasharda Scholarship Programme. In the last three years, IBC24, a subsidiary company of SBPIL, has presented state toppers of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh with scholarships of INR One Lakh, district toppers with a scholarship of INR Fifty Thousand and the school of the state topper with a special honour fund of INR One Lakh. From 2017, divisional level toppers are also given a scholarship of INR Fifty Thousand. Swarnasharda Scholarship Programme is the realisation and a step towards our goal to educate the daughters of our country by providing the necessary support they require to showcase their talents.
The Group has actively supported the undertaking of Uttarakhand Relief Fund during the flash floods in Kedarnath and the relief funds for the cyclone-hit state of Orissa. At present, SBPIL has taken actions to combat COVID-19 by contributing INR 71 Lakhs to Chhattisgarh CM Relief Fund, out of which INR 21 Lakhs was the contribution of Goel Group employeesʼ one dayʼs salary.
